Freestyle and Greco-Roman Training Camp
Dates: 8th to 12th January 2024
Venue: Valentine Sports Park- Sydney
Is the camp compulsory?
This camp is part of the National Program Activity, which forms the Nomination Criteria for 2024 Paris Olympics. This camp is compulsory for all athletes wishing to compete at Olympic Qualification events.
The Australian Olympic Commitee has approved the Wrestling Nomination Criteria for the 2024 Olympic Games: 2024 Olympic Games - Wrestling Australia Ltd
All those aiming for Olympic Qualification who are unable to attend the camp must submit an Exemption Form to be approved by Wrestling Australia. The form can be found here.
2024 Oceania Championships
The camp is compulsory for Senior athletes that are attending the 2024 Oceania Championships.
Who else can attend?
Senior and Junior athletes are also invited to attend this camp.
U17 and U20 athletes that are attending the 2024 Oceania Championships are highly encourgaed to attend.
Under 18?
All athletes that are under 18 must be be accompanied by a guardian for the camp.
Cost:
$70 PER DAY (Invoice must be paid prior to attendance)
This option does not inclue accommodation or meals on site.
What to bring: All participants please ensure to bring any equipment required for various styles of training session.
There is a laundry available on site, the use of this is at the cost of each participant.
First Session: 11.30am 8th January
Departure: 4pm 12th January
