Referee Refresher Course
Date: 27th June 2025
Location: Blacktown Leisure Centre, Sydney
Event Times: 9.30am - 4pm
Presenter: Stefan Rudevics
International referee and United World Wrestling educator Stefan Rudevics will provide a one day referee refresher course for all current referees. The course will assist referees to be best prepared to referee at future events.
All current and prospective referees are encourgaed to attend.
You will have the chance to practice some live refereeing through out the day.
The course will introduce new volunteers to the rules of wrestling, and prepare them for the role of judge and set the foundation for further development.
This includes:
- Introduction to the rules of wrestling
- Roles and duties
- Point scoring and actions
- Passivity and cautions
- Types of victories
- Scoresheets
