One Week left to register- 2023 National Youth Championships

Registrations are open for the 2023 National Youth Championships

Once week left for normal registrations.

Date: 7th October 2023

Venue: St Clair Recreation Centre, Adelaide

Ages: 6-20

The 2023 National Youth Championships is an OPEN event, Australian Citizenship is not required.

Normal Registrations will close on the 23rd of September, late registrations will accepted until the 30th of September.

All athletes must be a valid member of a state association at the time of the competition. See details for state associations below:

Weigh in all for categories: 7.30am – 8.00am

Competition Starts: 9.30am

Uniform Requirements

Wrestlers may wear, other than the standard wrestling singlet, a two-piece outfit as follows

Tops of close-fitting elastic material that extends to the waist. Allowable items of clothing including rashguard, grappling shorts or bike shorts.

Short-sleeved or sleeveless shirt, predominantly in red or blue colour. A wrestler must bring one of each colour.

The shirt or top must be tight fitting.

For females the short must completely cover the breasts at all times,

If a head covering is worn, it should be firm fitting with no metal fixings.

Clothing may not have metal components zips or buttons.

Open pockets are not permitted.

Wrestling boots must be worn.

All wrestler must wear a singlet or the alternative uniform for weigh in.
