Wrestling Australia Coaching Roles

Wrestling Australia are looking to fill two vacant coaching roles, National Development Coach (Freestyle and Women's Wrestling) and the National Program Coach (Freestyle and Women's Wrestling).
National Development Coach (Freestyle and Women's Wrestling)
With a primary focus on the prospective Brisbane 2032 athlete cohort, the National Development Coach will work closely with National Program Coach to deliver the Junior National Program activity for Freestyle and Women’s Wrestling with a focus on technical development, competition readiness, and athlete progression across U15, U17, and U20 categories.
The coach will support long-term athlete development in alignment with the Wrestling ‘What it Takes to Win’ (WITTW) and the Athlete Development Framework, ensuring junior athletes are prepared for structured transition into senior programming.

National Program Coach (Freestyle and Women's Wrestling)
With a primary focus on the prospective Brisbane 2032 athlete cohort, the National Program Coach will work under the guidance of, and in partnership with the CombatAUS High Performance Director to provide world class technical coaching to elite and developing Wrestling athletes as required in support of the Wrestling High Performance and Performance Pathways Programs.
